I'm not going to blog. Blogging sounds like what a slug does on a bad day. Like an activity after the doing of which you'd want to spray deodorant in the room.
But I know how much I count on a few trusted sources (yes, some of them are bloggers, and bless them) for putting bees in my bonnet—bees whose buzzing gets me to pay keener attention to the world. To repay that kindness, I want to use this space to pass along tips about books and movies that I especially like, news stories of note, phenomena that hearten or outrage.
